LAX’s Tom Bradley International Terminal has probably got to be one of the best places on Earth to people watch . . . yet I find myself sitting alone by a window, away from the hustle and bustle, just watching the planes take off.
I can’t believe it’s actually here! In just a short couple of hours, I’ll be boarding my red-eye flight to Iceland, where my two-week adventure commences. Everything today leading up to this particular moment has felt novel. Even actions as mindless as getting out of the car and going through security felt like first time ventures for me. I can’t explain it.
I don’t have much to say, since I’m not sure I can properly put into words what’s going through my head/body/heart right now, but I wanted to write a short something before I jet off and I lose myself in all of the moments that await.
Eeek! Until next time . . .
